REMINDER TO THE BUYER
CARE OF SEWING PRODUCTS
FROM PURE AND HALF-LINEN FABRICS
Dear buyer!
To ensure that your purchased product brings joy and lasts a long time, follow our recommendations.
Remember that fibers, threads, and fabrics are created using different technologies and are also subject to different types of processing. Therefore, care for products by the care symbols indicated on the label, and also adhere to the following simple rules:
- Before washing, zippers and buttons in products must be fastened.
- The washing machine drum should be filled approximately halfway. This will ensure effective, gentle washing, and easy rinsing and spinning.
- Machine washing of items made from colored fabrics in contrasting colors or with contrasting trim should be done in warm water (not higher than 40 degrees) using detergents for colored fabrics that do not contain bleaches.
- It is not advisable to use products with bio-additives (enzymes) for washing, as they can deform the thread and cause the fabric to unravel at the seams.
- Products made from colored fabrics of contrasting colors or with contrasting trims must not be soaked or boiled, or left wet when folded.
- Products with embroidery, lace, printed patterns, plain dyed, and “wrinkled effect” should be washed and ironed from the reverse side so as not to damage the decorative elements, the applied pattern, and the color of the product.
- When washing items with a wrinkled effect, you must use a fabric softener.
- When soaking and washing, washing powder must be diluted in water and not applied directly to the product.
- Colored items should be washed separately from white items.
- Spin in the washing machine is allowed. The recommended spin speed is 400-600 rpm.
- It is not advisable to dry items made from colored fabrics in the sun, as the color of the item may change (fading).
- Iron linen items at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees with a humidifier.
- Do not iron bed linen with zippers through the ironing roller.
- Contact of linen products with chemically active substances in domestic conditions is prohibited.
Special Warnings:- When using and washing products made from colored fabrics of saturated colors, a color transition to contacting surfaces, as well as some color change, is allowed.
- Linen products may shrink after washing, within normal limits.
- When using linen products, the formation of fluff and pilling is allowed, because products are made from natural fibers.
- In products using regenerated fiber, colored fibers may be interspersed throughout the background.
If our recommendations are not followed, as well as if:- careless use;- self-repair;— mechanical impact for which the product is not designed;— exposure to chemically active substances in domestic conditions;— violation of dry cleaning rules (both personally and by specialized organizations);- exposure to other external causes that are not subject to the control of the manufacturerQUALITY CLAIMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!Bactericidal, antifungal, and hypoallergenic properties of flax products. The art of spinning threads from flax has been known for thousands of years, and to this day linen fabrics have not lost their relevance in everyday life, fashion, and production. The unique properties of flax fibers make fabrics made from them not only pleasant and durable but also healthy.
Flax fibers have bactericidal properties. This means that pathogenic microflora die upon contact with linen fabrics. Silica (silicon dioxide) contained in flax inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause fermentation and rotting. Regularly sleeping on linen or wearing linen clothes speeds up the healing of wounds and sunburns, and wounds in linen bandages heal faster. Linen can be ironed with a hot iron and boiled, which allows for maximum sterilization of the fabric.
The antifungal properties of flax help it treat fungal diseases. For this reason, linen kitchen towels do not become a “bacterial bomb”. Your entire body gets a similar effect when you sleep on linen bedding.
Undyed linen fabrics are hypoallergenic. There are known cases of allergies to synthetic fabrics, wool, and silk, but none to linen have been recorded. In addition, when growing, flax is treated much less with chemicals than cotton. The high strength of flax fibers does not require manufacturers to use fabric improvers or apply shrinkage protection to it. Advice for allergy sufferers and asthmatics - choose linen fabrics that wrinkle easily and are difficult to iron - they do not have chemical anti-crease treatments.
Being a natural material, linen fabric “breathes” perfectly, i.e. allows air and steam to pass through. Linen provides optimal ventilation of the skin, and helps us regulate heat - when it comes into contact with the skin in winter, it warms, in summer it removes heat, reducing body temperature. Hygroscopicity, or the ability to absorb and evaporate moisture, is higher in flax than in cotton (12 and 8%, respectively). This quality is important not only for our summer clothes but also for bed linen and kitchen towels at any time of the year.
Flax is not electrified. This means that your hair will always look neat if you wear linen shirts or sleep on linen pillowcases - no more “dandelions” on your head in the morning or lacking volume, “sticky” hair. In addition, minimal electrification ensures the cleanliness of the fabric: it gets dirty less and slower and does not collect fibers of a different color and dust.
How to make the most of the beneficial properties of flax?Wear linen clothes. In the summer heat, linen dresses and shirts are a real find. Linen wicks away moisture and heat well, so the body temperature in linen clothing feels 4–5 °C lower than in cotton clothing. White flax protects the body from UV radiation and the entire spectrum of sunlight, protecting the body from withering and early old age.
Include linen products in your wardrobe, place them in your bedroom, and you will not regret your choice. After all, there is nothing more valuable than your excellent health and the health of your family.
